New Year…and I am embarking on couple new projects with some amazing crowd! Here is the first frame of Project 52 Soul Depiction. Wow…could I just say…THIS!
“It’s humbling how quickly things change; how one minute you think life is over, or that the chaos will never let up, or that the rawness of a broken heart will eat you alive, and then the next thing you know you are in the next season of your soul. The old you is unrecognizable – some distant far off land you visited once.
I know that “this is temporary” or “this too shall pass” is not always comforting when you feel opened up, raw, and upside-down. I know you just want it to be over yesterday. I know you want to know how it will all work out. I get that you want it shiny, pretty, and worked out now.
But think how boring you would be if you had never been pushed to grow. Think about how one dimensional life would be if it always worked out for us; if there were never any lessons, or setbacks, or hiccups.
The best thing I know to tell you, when you are in the middle of the storm and the confusion and the pain, is when you are falling dive! Don’t waste any of it. Find the purpose of it.
Let it mold you, shape you, stretch you. Let it carry you into the depths of your messy. Then practice love and compassion while you are letting go of control.
