ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK WINTER ELOPEMENT|SELF-SOLEMNIZING COLORADO ELOPEMENT | SPRAGUE LAKE ELOPEMENT | KELLEY + MATTHEW | INTIMATE WEDDING + ADVENTUROUS ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER | ADVENTURE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER | SELF-SOLEMNIZING COLORADO ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

There was no officiant, no bridal party, and no family. Just them.Their handwritten vows to each other brought them both to tears. It was MAGIC.

Kelly + Matthew “self-solemnized” means they simply self married each other, without an officiant or any witnesses.

Colorado, is one go those magical states where  couples can enjoy that freedom.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK WINTER ELOPEMENT EXPERIENCE

I cannot tell you how many elopements I have shot and every one of them is absolutely unique. Just like my couples…and their stories!

The only aspect that my couples share is LOVE and CONNECTION for each other. These two souls, Kelly + Matthew, flew the day before Christmas here to ELOPE from Florida to elope in RMNP because of photos they saw I had taken here.

Their hearts were so joyful to have me as their photographer to capture their day and I have never felt so thankful. This passion makes me because working with thankful hearts and kind people is instantly like taking 5 cups of coffee!

Winter elopements are pure magic. These two adventurous souls did not care about the freezing temperatures. All they cared about was this timeless moment…

And the most epic winter wonderland EVER! Colorado never disappoints!

This Rocky Mountain National Park destination elopement had been so incredible! The jaw dropping views of Long’s Peak, the rolling hills, no matter how many times I get to visit this beautiful part of our state, I am in awe.

We started our adventures meeting at a local coffee shop. Not very romantic, but when you reach Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes, the cell phone reception is very sparse.

They followed me driving up a remote mountain pass in the early hours of the day. When we got to Sprague lake, we hiked up to the location where the snow was just dancing with the wind.

All wrapped in a wool blanket, held each other to share those timeless moments. That moment was magic.

No it did not last very long, but long enough to savor each second they looked into each other yes and said their vows.

Soulful emotions, love and connection that’s what I saw…though my lens!

Kelly + Matthew,  I could not feel more lucky to have gotten to capture your day.
