I was in college in Washington state and he was enlisted in the Navy stationed in San Diego. We were a fairy tale romance- we were deeply in love very quickly and within 6 months of meeting I had uprooted my life and moved to California to the great concern of my friends and family- back then only weirdos met someone online and they were sure I was running head first into a 20/20 story.

We have built a beautiful life together and I still love him more every day than the one before. He is my best friend, confidant, and an incredible father to our little girl.

When Nature Calls
I knew I had to have Justyna for our vow renewal- as a photographer in Colorado I have had the opportunity to get familiar with the work of many incredible photographers in our state- but no one works the mountains quite like Justyna, and I knew I wanted to print some very large format images from our session, so I had to have the best. We had planned to renew our vows on our anniversary in 2020...for those of you who recall April of 2020 you already know that those plans were a bust.
the sun was out- we got waylaid on the road by about 50 Elk much to the delight
When we finally got to go on our adventure with Justyna the day was perfect. I had more time to save up for my dream dress from Reclamation design, the sun was out- we got waylaid on the road by about 50 Elk much to the delight of our 8 year old...and the golden hour light was PERFECT.
