Your Colorado Adventure Elopement Love story
Ryan and I met in 2016. I was having a rough summer and decided to take advantage of the volunteer days my company let us do. I went to Longmont YMCA to help in the garden they have. They grow fresh vegetables to provide to the local food banks. When I got there in the morning all the folks from Kaiser were gathered waiting to get started. First thing I noticed was this tall, good looking guy with a killer beard! It took him 3 of these events (where we spent the time talking, picking weeds, playing in the dirt, and me catching and showing him all the critters) for him to give me his phone number and offer to help me get the apples off my tree. I finally texted him on Halloween and asked if he wanted to come help me hand out candy to trick or treaters. I made ribs in the smoker and we had a fabulous fun Halloween first date! By the next June, he moved in ❤️ 5 years later Ryan proposed at my parent’s house on Christmas Eve. We chose December for our Breckinridge elopement. Just me, Ryan and our friend/ colorado adventure elopement photographer, Justyna. She met us in the morning at our air bnb to start our day. Ryan and I had coffee, cuddling in our pj’s around the fire. We then changed and headed out to Loveland pass for some winter wonderland mountain photos. Ryan and I are big beer fans, and we made our way down to Steep Brewery in Keystone for a few beers. Then it was Christmas tree cutting!! We always cut our own Christmas tree so we thought it would be a fabulous elopement activity. We found the perfect little tree and went back for decorating, present opening, and of course…our ring exchange. We had a beautiful, magical day and feel so blessed to have had our friend there to document it for us!!!
