The park's vistas are accessible by horseback, on foot, or by car - the most notable vehicle route being Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuously paved highway in North America. So these two set out to tie the knot just the two of them in August, absolutely perfect time here in Colorado to adventure at 12,000 feet above.

There was hiking. There were Lanter's at the Blue Hour. There were letter from their little ones. There was sun kissed sunset glow at 12,000 feet. And their serene vows happened at the alpine lake...after the golden hour glow.

The "blue hour" of twilight before sunrise or after sunset  always gives me goosebumps....when the sky takes on a deep blue color. It creates serene and atmospheric atmosphere that I just want to live in....FOREVER..... That warm glow,  cool blue tones and the warmth of lanterns.... will always captivate my soul...

FUN FACT

During the blue "hour", red light passes through space while blue light is scattered in the atmosphere, and thus reaches Earth's surface. Blue hour usually lasts about 20–96 minutes right after sunset and right before sunrise. Time of year, location, and air quality all have an impact on the exact timing of blue hour.

That is 20-96 min of magic....to my heart....

Love Story

"Manuel and I met as young single parents when we worked at a maximum security prison. Our relationship was only in passing until I left the prison at the end of 2019. At that point he reached out and we became friends. We text on and off for months as everything was on lock down. I always forgot to message back and a day later we would start back where we left off. After everything had opened back up we decided to have a play date. We both had our kids very young and they are only a few months apart. 

We met at a park, had ice cream then. We went to his house as the dog he was caring for had puppies. The kids played with the puppies while we talked. We spoke about everything and anything and before the night was over he kissed me. As it got close to dinner we had to head home. Manuel had to head out of town for work. 

This play date was just the initiation. The next two weeks he called me every night after long days on the rigs. This was when we truly made a connection. 

Eventually we were living together trying to acclimate our children with one another. Both of us needed help as parenting on our own was hard. 

We have matured so much together. We have grown as parents. We have changed as people and learned to love each other for it." Manuel + Annastasia
